Sakezushi (Kagoshima region) May steamed prawns are laid on sushi rice, rice mixed with vinegar, and it is quite tasty. "Sakezushi" is originated by the fact that a "shogun" tried to mix leftovers at a feast with Japanese "sake" and it was very delicious. Sakezushi is famous at Kagoshima. |
